Adventures!
So I just checked out of the backpackers that I was staying in, and I’m feeling much more positive about the rest of this week! I’m standing here on the corner of the street waiting for my lift to arrive and enjoying the fresh air after six hours of intensive training with 9 other women in a tiny office space. Not that the backpackers was horrible or terrible or anything else, and the girls I was rooming with are lovely – it’s just that I’m getting grumpy after just two nights. There’s no way I’m getting the most out of this course if I don’t get some alone time soon! I’m very lucky that I have friends (mums best friend, actually) to invite me to stay with them, and only a short train ride from town!
So anyway, here’s a photo from the balcony of the room I was in… It looks rather idyllic, until you realize that the reason no one is in the pool is because the giant cockroaches got there first.
