A Label or Two
This was a quick-fix mini project that I came across on EPBOT – a wonderful place created by Jen and John (also of Cakewrecks.com) to go to while away the hours if you’re crafty or handy and/or at all into steampunk, interior decoration or geeky things! The only problem with the site is that I tend to get inspired and enthusiastic to start a project, and then realise that I don’t have any of the materials, or the time, or that I can’t hammer nails into my ceiling at 1 am, or such a triviality as that.
This one, however… Jen posted a bunch of links to sites that have vintage clip-art, including authentic labels! All I needed was a computer, photoshop to resize them, my printer and a glue stick! These tiny jars are only about 5cm high (without the lid) and I’ve got them on a mini shelf to store tiny things in my bedroom… the labels just make them fit in a little bit more, and mean I can store a bunch of mismatched stuff in them without worrying about how they look!
