Alice in the Looking Glass
Tonight’s kinda busy, so here’s one I prepared earlier!
Earlier this month, Jo, her Aunty-in-law and I went to Kid’s Paradise with all my niblings. Millie slept through most of it, but apart from that, the kids had a ball! Heidi spent most of her time on the active equipment, going up and down the slides and climbing frames and bouncing off the jumping castles. Henry spent a lot of time exploring, then coming back to tell us all about it. And Alice… oh, my Alice! She played shops and hairdressers to her heart’s content – but her especial delight were the dress-ups. It was a stinkin’ hot day, but she donned the fur coat and the four inch heels and clopped away quite happily in the pink-rose-wallpapered room with the gilt mirrors. Clearly, this is her niche.
Now I just have to wait until she can smile on demand properly.
