Day 16 – Something You Love

Today’s picture is incredibly rushed, and I apologise – to you and to myself – for that. But here’s something I love: Early Morning Skies. These spring mornings are calm and chilly and full of blackbirdsong, and I’m starting to enjoy getting up inordinately early to go for a walk, coming home just as the sun rises over the horizon.

I kept my promise for a week, folks! I’ve been for a 30-40min walk every day this last week. I’ve kept up my healthy eating as well (I refuse to call it a diet), and I’m a bit proud to be able to say that I’ve done it! Bring on the next week!

I was chatting to someone at work the other day who said that she lost 25kg in 9 months simply by changing what she ate, when and walking every morning. That put a little bit of hope into my efforts for this week. I weighed in half a kilo lighter this week, and I can tell that my tummy is getting flatter! Go me!
