I only really discovered Hellebores this Winter. They are gorgeous flowers. The petals are waxy and dry – they feel a little like leaves – and the colours are simply amazing. They’re a pretty flower for people who aren’t really into pretty flowers, perhaps. It doesn’t hurt that they’re the first flowers out in our garden towards the end of winter, either.
