Flooded Photos
On Tuesday Dan and Kozz picked me up from uni and we headed out to Longford to take some photos. My mission was to get a good photo of Dan. Well… maybe next time. (if he manages to stop talking, pulling faces or moving long enough for me to point and shoot!) But we did get some great photos. Kyle was especially …complying… about posing, so all I had to do was hold the camera in his direction.
We walked along next to the river, under the bridge that the highway goes over. The area was flooded, and the ground was incredibly soggy, slippery and muddy (the parts of it that weren’t under water). I ended up with mud splashed up to my knees, and my shoes will never be the same again. Dan woke up the next morning with a cold, and Kyle got *gasp* mud on his Dolce & Gabbana jeans – but it was all worth it!
It was fantastic to be out with friends, exploring something new, sharing something fun (and at times hilarious). I got some photos I’m happy with, and they’ve what I’ve been playing around with project-wise this week, so here are a couple of my favourites!
Have a good Friday! (I will! I’m heading out with Lisa-Lou to explore!)

oh, do please come back, Kat!
I love it when people pop in!
That photo is one of my favourites, too! He’s much more photogenic when he forgets to pose =P
(and here is a lesson in why I need to name my photos on flickr instead of leaving the photo number there… heh.)
