Friends I Can’t Wait to Meet
I can’t wait to meet a friend who knows more than four songs I love, and who isn’t scared to sing them loudly and off-key with me. If you know every Kris Kristofferson song by heart and most of the words to Emmylou Harris’ Boulder to Birmingham, call me!
I can’t wait to meet a friend and know that they’re going to be one of my best buddies without even thinking about it.
I can’t wait to meet a friend who can teach me something that I will remember forever.
I can’t wait to meet someone I used to know and rekindle an old friendship.
I can’t wait to meet a friend who’ll get me interested in something new… I love experimenting with new things (within reason), and with a someone else is even better!
I can’t wait to meet a friend who will open my mind to something I’d never considered before.
I can’t wait to meet a friend who can drag me out of my comfort zone and show me what I’m missing.
I can’t wait to meet a friend who is easy to talk to, tolerant, good at laughing, able to rationalise my most stressed-out moments and share the crazy ones, and most of all, is able to put up with me – But I already have a bunch of friends like that!

This reminds me of when I THOUGHT we were becoming friends at Targa, with me mucking around with you … it was only later did you tell me that I was really annoying you. Sorry about that!
