Inaugural August Post
Welcome to August! I’ve taken a bit of a holiday today to get my uni work back down to a level that’s reasonably sane, and I think I’m finally getting there, after working all day! In between studiously jotting notes, I’ve come up with the schedule I plan to post to for this month. I enjoyed the every day challenge so much in July I’ve decided to keep it up throughout August!
The schedule is similar to last month, with just a few tweaks, mostly because of my uni timetable and the times I’ve found that are better for writing. I’m starting this thing in motion tomorrow, so check back soon for the first Sharing Sunday of August!
The posts of the week will fall into the following categories:
My Monday – A new, or at least previously unaired, photograph taken by myself. No getting out of that one.
Tweaked Tuesday – Something photoshopped. It might be mine, or it might be a favourite work of someone else. Only time will tell!
Wacky Wednesday – Because I don’t know what a super-tired induced state on Tuesday night will bring.
Topical Thursday – A blog about whatever takes my fancy, but well-written, this month.
Flickr Friday – I choose a favourite Flickr user and discuss the merits of their work. I’m resolving to make this a more formal and objective review this time around.
Supercilious Saturday – A blog about whatever takes my fancy, but well-written, this month.
Sharing Sunday – Continued from last month, since Sundays always got the most hits. (I guess that means people liked it?) I choose a few basic headings and fill them in each week, showing a slightly less groomed side of myself – not that much polish goes on anyway.
Some other things to note…
You have any suggestions for things I should add on a regular basis? Things you’d like my opinion on? (be careful with that one!) or Things you think I should avoid? Let me know, I’d love some imput about my output!
If you’re looking for last month’s entries, they can be found in the ‘July’ category, or else just click through the archives!
And if you noticed the new site design, well done. You don’t need to visit an optician this week. I’ll be mixing and matching colours when I find the time, but the basic format is here to stay (until I change my mind again…)
