Let Them Unwrap Cake
Hey there! I feel like I’m a bit behind with blogging, and I’ve got several posts to make that I just haven’t written up yet, which means that you’re all set to get old news. Hopefully you’ll get some more reflective (read: longer, more interesting) posts soon, but for now… here’s a photo of the cake I made for my sister Jo’s 32nd birthday back on the 27th. It survived the car trip to Ringarooma and, despite the absence of more than half the people I planned for when I judged how much cake was needed, it apparently was consumed in a timely manner. I was quite pleased with the result – cake decorating isn’t one of my strong points, but I had fun designing it! Oh, and it’s not an exceptionally flattering photo – all the good ones of the cake also had Jo’s eyes half closed, annoyingly!

This recipe is a particularly excellent one, Miss Gibb!
I will try my hardest to remember it for you. It’s almost foolproof, and uses three cups of zucchini!
