Mask Challenge

My edited image is above (click to enlarge) and the original image for this photoshop challenge is below. The rules are the same as for the church challenge: the image can be altered or used in absolutely any way, as long as some part of it is still identifiable! I wanted to try something a little different, and I think I may have inadvertently copied Tiggy’s style of drawing – i printed the masks off, cut them out and sketched the tendrils of hair on, before scanning it back into digital form and photoshopping it. It was quite interesting trying to draw with sketchier lines, because my instinct is to have smooth, flowing lines. In fact, I’d still like to try drawing the same thing in photoshop… I think the mix up of textures would be quite interesting. I had fun experiementing with the different style, anyway – and that’s part of the point of the challenge, I guess!
