Mini Monster Mash
It feels good to have time to sketch. My class created and painted their own monsters this week, and I was feeling a little left out of it because I didn’t have the chance to do one myself. So, I sketched one out at staff meeting (oops?) and today I finally redid it in photoshop. I worked with a tiny (3pt) brush to keep the sketchy feel that my original drawing had… and so it took a lot longer than normal! Nothing beats some good old-fashioned colouring therapy.

It’s like the nose is an evolutionary trick to make me think it’s it’s mouth, and thus i ignore those giantic teeth and give it a huge…. I feel like it’s all a ruse.
SO this is why you became a teacher!!! to get in on the drawing activities!!

Heh, actually the nose I stole from one of the kids’ drawings…
Or maybe it isn’t a nose… this monster just has two mouths!
And totally
