Monochrome Monday: WeddingRoll’d
I’ve taken some artistic license with the black-and-white rule for today – It’s a photo of a photo that I’ve scrapbooked, and in all fairness it is half a black and white photo and half a colour one. I wasn’t intending to use this for today’s post, but…
A week or so ago, the folks in Ringarooma got an invite to a barbeque at Heyes’ place, with the usual suggestions for cricket, soccer and swimming – the only hint of anything out of the usual was a request to be on time, and the promise that the Heyes’ would be. Since there’s at least two serious couples in the family, and Dimitra has only recently arrived back from Greece, everyone naturally suspected an engagement announcement, or even two.
Instead, they got what I like to call… WEDDINGROLL’D! (you know, like RickRoll’d, only… yeah.) So, here’s congratulations and huge happiness for Dallas and Rosie Kotrba! Rosie is the slightly older girl in the photo (and the other one is me!) I’m pretty sure it was taken at my aunty Gill’s wedding, when I was about three.
