Nearly The End
There are only two more days left of October – and the Pictober challenge! Part of me is sighing in relief that I don’t have to find something photogenic to take a snap of every. single. day. – but part of me will miss the challenge, as well. It’s been rewarding to walk through the day with ‘photographer’s goggles’ on, seeing a potential photo in many things, choosing one to be the subject of the day. Then again, at 10p.m. when all I’m ready to do is fall into bed with a book, the last-minute hunt for something that looks okay can be just plain annoying. Tonight was kind of one of those nights – but as usual in these instances, I always have a little idea in the back of my head that I can write out to supplement the photo and make it seem not quite so lame after all (hopefully!)
Tomorrow is Bandana Day (hey, y’all! Buy your bandanas at Woolworths. $3 to support young people living with cancer, and then make some cool cushion covers.)
The day after tomorrow is the last day of October! It’s also the day I have my maths exam, the day my friends John and Ruth get married, and Halloween. The last day of the month has never been so eventful. I don’t know if I’ll have time to breathe, let alone muster up something interesting for the final day of the challenge – but here’s hoping! Dan and I have something a little different planned for Novemer… stay tuned to find out exactly what!

When I saw this photo before I read your blog I thought it was going to be about planning and organising etc with the teacher side of you coming out. And then it wasn’t about that at all and it threw me a bit. Silly Claire.
Good luck with the exams
