Very quickly tonight, because I’m actually asleep… I just woke up to post this. Since I’ve only got one more assignment to think about, and to all intents and purposes, only one stressless half of that, I think it’s time to start catching up on my sleep!

Today’s drama was that the hot water cylinder blew up. When we pulled all the stuff out of the linen press to get to it, we discovered that it really meant it … it’s obviously been leaking for a while. I’m pretty impressed by the textures in this snap. (oh, and after a manful effort from Dad and one of our friendly neighbours, we will have hot water tomorrow morning!)

Starting tomorrow, I have a challenge-within-a-challenge to make my daily photo tech-inspired. Not sure how I’ll go with that, but I will try to keep things at least halfway interesting! Dan is challenged to NOT photograph techy stuff. I tried to convince him that techy stuff may be detrimental to the interest of my blog audience, but they were the terms, so now I’ll be really challenged to make it halfway interesting for seven whole days!
