Seasonal Self Portrait
Mostly because, you know, I’m vain and self-absorbed. Also, I’ve had the idea for this shot in my head since I unpacked the decorations – this bauble is oversized and there is absolutely no way to incorporate it into the household decorations, but I am head-over-heels in love with it. Using it in a self portrait shot seemed like a good solution.
Also: my very first self portrait that I’m not – to some degree – hiding behind my hair. Some days it works. Some days it just invokes Kat’s words from grade nine: “Oh EW, no. Quick, put your fringe back down again!”. Confidence status: growing.
Also also: I figured out today that I need four extra posts to get back up to date. I’ll try to get a couple finished tonight, and hopefully some more tomorrow! Stay tuned!

I already told you what I think of this photo on FB but I must say I REALLY like your hair like that, it makes you look very … grown up and sophisiticated maybe. Not saying you look childish otherwise. Am I making any sense? lol
It made me look at your eyes which are gorgeous and your lips look rather attractive too (in a non stalkerish way that is!)
