Sharing Sunday
And another week is gone, just like that. The latter half of this one was spent slaving over an essay for Thinking Globally – fascinating topic, but not the easiest thing to write, for some reason. This is the reason there was no blog yesterday, although technically there was a posting. I haven’t looked at that poem since I posted it, and once I do I’ll probably have to take it down from shame… get your twenty cents’ in now!
A QUOTE: “Never compare your inside with somebody else’s outside” This is #13 on a list of 30 tips on ‘How to be Creative’ at this blog () . I’m not usually into the whole inspirational propaganda thing, but this really did inspire me. #13 talks about confusing who you are inside – the ‘you’ that only you know properly – with what you can see when you look at the outside of other people. You don’t know what’s in their hearts any more than they know yours, and you don’t need to aspire to be anyone other than yourself. Head on over to the article, because this guy explains it much better than I do. (that’s my WEBSITE link for this Sunday, too!)
A GOAL: To get my Ensign all filmed-up and ready to take some shots this week. I’ve had to put it off because of school work, and it really hasn’t been the best weather for photography either. Can’t wait to get clicking, though!
A MILESTONE: As of the moment this was posted, 888 people have viewed my site this month (which, incidentally, is the 8th of the year). Since I don’t write about anything in particular, and I’m not doing this commercially or professionally, I feel special! Thanks to everyone who drops in and contributes every now and then… you make it so much more fun to write! =)
And lastly,

lol, I am the Andrew that exists in your mind, and you are the Anna that exists in my mind. Yet neither of these are accurate reflections of who we truly are in reality. Reality is all about how you yourself percieve it, not others….
Man! you guys really do need to watch Neon Genesis Evangelion, it has all the things you peeps bitch about! lol.

:-O more like discussing, really. Common themes, my friend, common themes. this is why I will probably *never* watch NGE.
It is a rather compelling subject though… I mean, you felt the urge to comment on it, right? =P

Just to complicate things further, in a learning course I did once, the teacher divided our self understanding in to four areas,
The part of you that only you know,
The part of you that you know and others see
The part of you that others see or understand that you dont
The part of you that no one, including your self perceive.
Is reality really what we perceive it to be, or is there more?

or is there less than we think? :-p
