Isn’t it interesting how we bring nature into our homes to coexist with technology? Plastic and plant life somehow sit side-by-side on our tables and benches, but I don’t believe it’s as common as it used to be. Not so many people snip a piece of that shrub or a few flowers off the tree in the front yard to put in a vase. How many people my age even own a vase? Instead, we take photos of pretty flowers, rolling green hills and majestic waterfalls and use them as our desktop backgrounds. We watch video clips and dvds with gorgeous scenes in them on our technology, but maybe somehow the real thing is becoming extinct. So I dare you to find a plant and keep it alive, next to the telephone or on your computer desk. Let’s have the best of both worlds!
