The Building Blocks of Civilisation
Today we found a little patch of sand out of the way of the wind at Turner’s beach. The water was absolutely freezing (well, really. How rude!) and the boys seized on the idea of building a sandcastle. Which somehow evolved to a small sand city (named, I believe, The City of Kylos). The plot got rather complicated at around that point, and I kind of gave up… All I know is that Kyle was donating his millions to support the development of the city walls – protesters were heard to shout “Stop throwing money at the problem and start coming up with real solutions!” – but, alas! Almost as quickly as it was erected and a proper school system established, the cruel tide washed it away. So the dam/engineering aspect belonged to Kyle, the defense and military came from Dan and the school and hospital systems were Andrew’s…. anyone want to read insighful things into their personalities from this?
With the fall of the City of Kylos, Badcockdonia was… erm, erected. It was situated further inland, but didn’t last much longer. The fleeing refugees from the cities looked to the mountains to cover them (or at least, to allow themselves to be camped upon), and the refugees were able to gaze in horrified terror as the last of their great civilisations were washed away by the angry sea gods. Then they, too were swept to an incredibly salty and cold grave. But nobody cared, because the sun had come out and the water was nicer.
Moral: early December isn’t great beach weather in Tasmania.

Ah, that was so much fun! also a great read! heeeheeeheee at the innuendo for my city. And indeedo that is the hospital, can’t u tell that it’s a helicopter pad on top?!

I can’t believe how short lived the city of Kylos was. Damn Ocean Gods!
We will have to make another sandcastle city.. With better Locations… lol

You guys need to learn to play these games on days that I am not working *frowns* looks like you had a LOT of fun.
Two things I noticed:
1. There was not a single photo of Anna *cough cough*
2. No offence Andrew but DAMN you really need to get out in the sun more! I think you are whiter than I am (if that is even possible) lol!

I’m working on it Claire! Been to the beach 4 times this year! That’s like 3 times more than last summer!!!
