Word Design
Welcome to Wacky Wednesday!!
Yesterday I had a technology and design tutorial, which takes the first three hours of my well-packed Tuesday and gently eases me into the day with a few laughs and something hands-on and not to cerebral to accomplish. This week, the task was to use Microsoft Word to create (design?) a character from a picture book… next week we have to design the set(ting) to match!
I spent three incredibly satisfying hours creating… Miss Daisy (okay, she was my own creation while Ian was still talking) and Uno, from Graeme Base’s book Uno’s Garden. Remember, the object was just to use Word to make these! I kept hitting keyboard shortcuts for photoshop and screwing up my images, though. Here are the pictures, anyway… I thought they’d make a perfect Wacky Wednesday post!
